potentially hot take (and i'm guilty of this too, i've done it, and now i will try to no longer do it): the more i see "answer my generic question and i'll tip you in degen" the more it feels like "i'll pay you to be my friend" energy

could say the same about the ask generic questions era of early farcaster curious as to where the friend comparison comes in, ie if someone asks you a question and gives you an incentive to answer does that make them your friend?

eh, different energy than era of early farcaster because no one was making money when you introduce the incentive of money upfront, it becomes tougher to determine what is a genuine vs. superficial interaction and adds a strong transactional flavor
