speaking anecdotally, I invite fewer of my friends to FC now than I did a year or two ago. Still unpacking the reasons / thoughts behind that but curious if others feel the same.

i made a solid effort at recruitment when @dwr.eth gave a bunch of invites back in the no one was here era, my egirl cabal didn't want to put the effort into a new platform

now i don't even have the 'this is fertile ground' pitch because i don't think it is, the memetokens have really made the culture here outside of a few spaces suck and whether they want to build an audience or community i think there are better places for them to do it
