In America consumer protections are rapidly eroding and there will be a proliferation of alternative financial products, from crypto based solutions to X Payments. Remember these services don’t come with FDIC insurance. they have few incentives at all to do right by you. Be careful

My heuristic soon is if a crypto product doesn't have @opencover (or similar) or doesn't allow me to use it—if it's custodial—then I simply won't use it
