my first official post in /the-arena :)
i'm building /animarising, a mobile-first 3D idle MMORPG featuring 35 skills, a multiyear dark fantasy storyline & a p2p USDC marketplace
after 6 months of development, our pre-alpha, and first true release, is set to go out this monday in our discord!
as such, this week was spent
>fine tuning mechanics
>debugging, and
>implementing quality of life updates for our players
this includes our Skills page gridview toggle & our "Book of Domain," which can be found within Discovery (design files attached below)
>the new Skills gridview is mostly a cosmetic change & although it's something any MMO player will immediately recognize, it doesn't do much for gameplay beyond that
>our Discovery page now includes "Tomes," which are essentially mini Wiki's for each skill, a "Questing Log," which offers some light guidance & objectives to our testers, and our "Book of Domain," which allows players to look up all items (so far) & where they’re found within the Domain 3 replies
