AI won’t replace us because at the end of the day, we are still the ones who operate and guide AI. AI can do amazing things like analyzing huge amounts of data or performing tasks more quickly than a human could. But it still needs human input for direction. AI doesn't have its own desires, emotions and it follows the instructions we give it.
Now when it comes to AI ever having consciousness like us, that’s a huge question. Consciousness involves self-awareness, emotions, experiences and understanding the world in a very deep, personal way. AI doesn’t have any of that. It doesn’t "feel" anything, it simply processes information. While AI can mimic certain human behaviors like talking or recognizing images, it’s not truly conscious.
What makes us human? It’s our ability to think critically, feel deeply, and connect with others in meaningful ways. We have a complex sense of self, a rich emotional life, and we can make decisions based on values and experiences which AI can’t replicate. 0 reply
