degen escaped farcaster because it aligned the network first it captured most of the users here & the momentum carried it beyond this is ultimately what i would like to see from clanker degen created distribution by giving away free money this allowed communities to form here via engagement & contribution incentives in turn, creating a bunch of sub communities that not only relied on degen to survive, but held & staked degen to remain engaged in other words, everyone involved was aligned & everyone made money today, clanker allows these communities to legitimize at the highest level, which is better for the devs/creators of the community as the fee split is a much better mechanism than anything degen could offer… however it dilutes clanker token holders into sub community tokens which aren’t even paired with clanker itself further, it doesn’t redistribute anything to the community, only to the creators, leaving the community members with only token appreciation staked clanker fixes this

degen encouraged quality content. the idea of a token per meme / community is interesting, but in reality clanker creates a pvp environment

I think staked clanker is a bit premature Degen didn’t even implement staking till a few seasons down the line
