Economic conservatives have long held that raising the minimum wage is a surefire recipe for job destruction. Any mandated increase in labor costs, the argument goes, will cause employers to slash jobs and hours to protect their bottom line.

The result: fewer job opportunities for the low-wage workers who need them most.

It’s a tidy, gut-feeling story. But a story is all it is.

Farcaster won’t survive or thrive if every user’s posts remain more than 50% focused on crypto. That’s my prediction.
