Crystal Hearts

This is what the city of Toretsk currently looks like… I got to see the city still very much alive when we were delivering aid in summer 2023 ❤️‍🩹

A few months ago, there were still 400 civilians left there, living in the basements. Not sure what the numbers are by now (before the full-scale war, the population was about 30k). This is one of many cities fully destroyed and partially occupied by russia (they currently control parts of the city’s territory and are trying to occupy it fully).

every time I deliver aid, I think that it could be the last time I see that town or village still existing. So many of them now are ruins and exist just in memories 💔💔💔
