Three years of full-scale war today. A lot can be said about that day and what has happened over the past three years, but I thought I’d share a personal family story and some of the hard decisions that had to be made in the first weeks that I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

Yeah, and so many families went through much worse. So many of us have friends who tried to save their families under occupation, only to learn they were killed and thrown into a mass grave. So many have civilian family members who were captured while trying to evacuate and forced into captivity after passing through filtration camps… And thank you for sharing about yourself and your mother. I will also never forget my mother’s tears and will not forgive. 🫂
