first-time macbook user thoughts (<1 week): - learning new hotkeys is hard work after being exclusively a windows-only user - changing caps lock to work as a command key was an elite suggestion (ty @sdv.eth) - removing dock hide delay was also an elite suggestion (ty again @sdv.eth) - i love that i can share my internet with my phone via usb (great for weak wi-fi areas where phone seems to drop in and out) - mission control, app expose and hot corners are actually awesome once you can accept a new way of navigating round your desktop space (not using the taskbar / alt tab like windows) - battery life is ACTUALLY insane, now i see why everyone wanders around with a macbook and no charger wants: - i want to be able to two-finger swipe back and forward on warpcast like i can on twitter and other websites - an equivalent of ninite for macOS - more power-user suggestions pls

Check the trackpad gestures in system preferences. I have mine set up to do three-finger swipes for forward and back so that two-finger swipes don’t interfere with horizontal scrolling when necessary. Should allow you to do what you want to do with forward and back navigation on all websites

ty ty! tried this and it works but i don't like the fact that now it's the only gesture i've got that works in the opposite direction (e.g. swipe up to scroll down, swipe down to scroll up, 4 finger swipe left to switch to different app from the right etc. but three finger swipe left goes back whereas two finger swipe right would go back in my first setup)
