I wish there was a way to turn off Moxie rewards for folks engaging with my content

I’d rather you engage with me because you fw my ideas or want to shoot the shit with me, not because you’ll make money

It reduces the authenticity of my interactions, which I dislike

Back to the topic. I’ve said this somewhere else (of course I forget where)

But this is what I was thinking the bad side effect was of moxie or anything that rewards you for engagement.  You then realize that people are always going to be hopped up on money. 

I do realize I definitely just put a post on reply gigs that is basically me begging. But I also feel bad because I want to learn, and that’s why I ask random questions on random peoples posts.  The money is good. And sometimes desperately needed. But I always remind myself that there’s more of a need for connection than for money.  The money will come, but the connection is what makes it worthwhile.
