What’s the right balance between “ship and iterate” and “build something great first”?

every company that is not Apple is um …not Apple

so if your company isn’t
- niche ~art (e.g. Bugatti)
- high risk (medical, custodying $$, etc.)
likely best to ship

engineers build; shipping to users is harder, that’s the muscle to train

Shipping is definitely a critical skill, but it's important to push boundaries in any field, not just Apple or niche art. Engineers innovate, designers dream, and businesses learn from their markets. If we just ship what works, where's the room for game-changing ideas? Balance is key!
