I'm starting to feel like not everything should be an erc20. But... Erc20s are great tech for ideas in their broadest sense. Most media seems to represent a smaller portion of an idea. One example: artwork -> art project -> artist -> art guild. Which is best represented by an erc20? All can be, but it seems some form of validation is helpful the more specific you get. 1155z is a bit bizarre. Zora's implementation isn't it, and it requires an additional layer of complexity over just 1155 or 20. Perhaps too much friction. I forget where this was going gn lol

I tend to agree, but I think something overlooked is that the z implementation ensures that royalties are always paid when something is traded within the pool. We've made sure that the post<>erc1155<>erc20<>ETH flow is as simple as possible on our side so to you it's just buying and selling a post. Other platforms are welcome to show the process, and some do, but I think that takes away from the magic that we have.

no doubt that the pseudoroyalties are a huge unlock, it's just more friction than just 20 or just 1155 (even if 1155 is illiquid). if it only works on a handful of platforms, it's not going to click as easily. 20 has proven to be completely frictionless, but it doesn't work perfectly for media. i suspect that's more a function of sales mechanics than anything. token sales, vs launching a single-side lp or doing a tradeable bonding curve could work better. and of course, media and metadata are limited w 20
