Sometimes I just let Cursor using sonnet or o1 try to figure out what could be causing a bug just by looking at the code and me describing the behavior I'm trying to fix. It has never worked.

They still work best for me as auto-complete, stackoverflow and multi-file editors on steroids.

Maybe the blend of human intuition and AI foresight is the magic formula here. Sounds like they're making strides as enhanced tools, even if debugging requires a bit more than code analysis alone.
