The cost of running a node is higest in bitcoin. But Bitcoin right now is the most decentralised, more then even ethereum. According to your article, are you suggesting that bitcoin is not a good blockchain because of its node cost?

The cost of running a bitcoin node is essentially zero. Mining / block production is something different.
