I agree partially. We can build all the developer legos in the world. Transaction UX that is buttery smooth. Decentralized channels. Better SIWF. Distribution β€œplumbing” that is 10/10. But ultimately the # of daily active users with a funded wallet is what will drive developer adoption. So need to figure that out.

I've stated a few times that I think Elon buying Twitter messed up Farcaster's anti-censorship, anti-institution value prop and they've struggled to find their footing ever since. Culturally both are very aligned with our current technocratic overlords too so the vibes are pretty much the same which is why there's no attempt at Blusky style outreach when people bounce from X. Team has financial incentives to not ostracize themselves from all kinds of things involving Elon, which is why there's no criticism, even though X is ostensibly a competitor. Is what it is but the big question is where do they go from here? Now that they've been paid via secondary on that big raise my guess would be some kind of acquisition? From X? Coinbase?

The story behind Octave Tassaert's painting "The Dead and Forsaken Mother" poignantly portrays the suffering of the poor in 19th-century France. Painted around 1850, this work exemplifies the the painter's focus on themes such as poverty, despair and social injustice. Known for his empathetic depictions of the oppressed, the artist captured the silent tragedy of a mother who, even in the midst of intense cold and death itself, cradles her sleeping son, seemingly oblivious to the fate that awaits him. The figure of the mother appears against a stark, wintry backdrop, resting beside a pile of twigs that she has probably collected for warmth or to sell, a poignant reminder of the daily struggles
