Actually got this in print. I love reading essays the old school way.

Also feels like I remember them and their contents significantly better than stuff I just read online.

I am the same this way, sometimes actually concerning and wondering about this mystery the phones create on our subconscious, the rushed sense the notifications produce, the long term consequences of fragmented attention.

Yes this is really important not to mention dependencies that are developed with all the habits we make online. 

I also have some very special things that I write manually actually and interestingly to do list almost always when I write it down (manually) I manage to finish so many more things than from online lists

I think there was also research that retention is much higher with books read in print vs e-readers. Similar things for writing by hand vs typing. 

That's just one reason I write quite a lot of notes manually, and read nearly all the books I do read in print. 

Pretty sure the long-term consequences of constantly feeling stressed isn't good haha. It's maybe why people are so angry online all the time lol.
