I really appreciate ambition. 

I think it's important for some people to be ambitious since it is often a prerequisite to doing something great.

But there is this weird perversion with ambition that portrays it as some kind of moral good. It's not -- if anything, it's totally orthogonal.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on ambition. While ambition is indeed an important factor in achieving great things, it shouldn't automatically be seen as a moral virtue. Ambition can help us accomplish significant goals, but it doesn't always align with moral values. It can be separate from morality and may have either positive or negative effects, depending on how and why it is pursued.
