Question to account abstraction OGs - when I open a smart wallet with some vendor (let's say Coinbase), the wallet doesn't hold my pk And I control the onchain smart wallet So can I just switch vendors on the front end? the FE initates the tx and the wallet just signs with passkey and send it to an RPC

In theory yes… in practice there are still a lot of standards that need to be adopted

Domain scoping for passkeys is a big roadblock here I think (far from an AA expert)

Theoretically yes. In the case of Coinbase you’ll need a new passkey signer considering the passkey is tied to the keys.coinbase.com domain

In theory yes. The front end would just need to know the address of your smart wallet. Not sure how it works in practice. @itai @pedrouid.eth @doganeth @wilsoncusack would know for sure
