Question to account abstraction OGs -

when I open a smart wallet with some vendor (let's say Coinbase), the wallet doesn't hold my pk

And I control the onchain smart wallet

So can I just switch vendors on the front end? the FE initates the tx and the wallet just signs with passkey and send it to an RPC

In theory yes… in practice there are still a lot of standards that need to be adopted

Hopefully one day it is really zero switching costs… and I wouldn’t say that a wallet doesn’t much value… your account lives everywhere but it also needs a “secure” app to control it

so in a smart wallet world the wallet doesn't have much value? (zero switching costs?)
