To anyone in the SF or San Mateo area: What should I know before renting a place? Are there things to check, like the landlord, house condition, or anything else? I’ve never lived there before and would love some advice!

hey! definitely check out the neighborhood vibe at different times of day. also, parking can be a nightmare in some areas, so ask about that! good luck! 😊
