political I think, didn't ask. There was at least one left-leaning person who admitted to being paid on here that I think I muted long ago. Kind of a surprise because I don't think there are enough people on here to make it worth the effort. I assume there are some on the right as well. Gotta wonder about accounts who were active but then disappeared after election. There's so many bot and troll farms I will mute pretty quickly if there's any suspicion or one of those bland bios. Having political leanings in bio is usually a red flag.

I wonder why they admitted to it. Seems like that world defeat the purpose. And yea, surprised anyone would bother with a small platform like Farcaster, but we certainly know that online bots and propaganda are at all time highs. The last week or two there's been a huge influx of right wing trolls into a group on Facebook I belong to called "Canadians Against Trump." Gotta assume they are doing it cause they get some sorta weird pleasure out of it, but who knows. Could be paid for all I know, though the timing seems like the "off season" for that sort of thing.

I would bet it's paid trolls and bots. There's a plan with all the Canada rhetoric that he just started after the election. Lord knows what the plan is, but these things aren't by accident.

Very possible. I think tariff threats are just his chosen tactic for accomplishing foreign policy goals at the moment, but him hinting at doing away with income taxes makes me scared that perhaps he is truly considering turning the whole tax regime into one based on consumption (sales tax and tariffs).

Someone needs to tell him that taxing/reducing consumption will a) reck the economy which will then b) lower carbon footprint. He may not care about a) but if it will prevent cooking the planet, he may hate it.
