This is completely misguided. It misses the economic difficulties facing American families in favor of an ideological agenda.

Yes and IMO it's better to get a win when and where you can.

I think it depends on the policy. This is just a horribly misguided idea from a policy standpoint.

Whilst I agree with Java in theory, in reality they’ll turn the $5k “win” into a net loss by inflating costs etc. 

Kinda like how UBI gets misconstrued as a W when in reality it’s yet another measure where they cut down the overall amount of welfare
