Kind of suspense around the next French revolution. At least 2 deputies half-calling for one on TV over the past couple months. Like "is there any other way" rhetorical juice. And yesterday, a fantastic invited talk from an astro-physicist philosopher at the European parliament making broader remarks quite related.

Sneaky reality. One innocuous law after the other, society ideals from 300+ years ago get “reinterpreted” and dismantled. Funny thing is that Macron gets represented more and more with aristocratic poses (thanks Midjourney?). Less funny consequence is like some joke on preparing old blunt guillotines.
