Very interested.

But I have to admit reading the tone on the book homepage, one of the first thoughts was about Deep from The Boyz.

It's a good read, though very much in the style of trad. pop/journalistic science. Ways of Being might be a better read on alt. cognition, alongside the Children of X series. Yet to find a perfect read on cephalopod intelligence... :(

Other Minds by Peter Godfrey-Smith, specifically on cephalopods. And if not mistaken, I think Tchaikovsky mentions the book when talking about Children of Ruin.

Bridle’s book look terrific (read all the others :))
