↗️ @survey is about to level up, hard. @ba and I are pumped to announce @ponder, the parent platform that will distribute rewards for answers and manage survey logistics. I highly recommend reading the full post on @paragraph, but here’s a synopsis for the lazy 👇 https://bit.ly/3LCS9WO

Congratulations. Would you have pointers to stats that show monetizing surveys makes for “better” survey? (Quoting as many meanings here) Found an article from 2017, but it seems there is much more to it. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5406995/

TBH money incentive has zero attraction to me. The only attraction is whether I care about the topic, or about who’s asking. Like I would participate to a survey you send, as I see hard-working people trying something concrete. (a bit ironic, yes)

monetization is a necessary tool when the sample is obscure. does it appeal to everyone targeted, no, but it gets more people through the door than the typical "would you do a survey" ratio. As far as data quality, its dependent on how general the topic is. More General=more likely to get bad data.
