Possible. Macron has quite some political acumen. Yet the result of that acumen has been personal victories leading him at the top seat, and each time more and more people dropping into the far-right trap. I wonder what percentage of far-right voters are simply disappointed and disgusted people against politics exacerbated by people like Macron, but equality to the right and left. Some speculate that only 10% are really far right, and I rally hope this number is a maximum.

He effectively garnered support from many "neoliberal players" who benefited directly from his policies. However, it is unclear whether the general French population saw significant benefits. The rise of the far right appears to be correlated with the extent of economic reallocation or lack of it thereof
