Realizing everything that you read and hear is one sided makes a big difference in your life. Suddenly you will feel less anger, more calmer and accepting of all circumstances and people around you.

These days I wonder if this passage would be written the same way, retrospectively. Especially the “one half” which suggests a thinking rather binary/manichaean. Truth lies on a perfect sphere, not the sides of a coin. (Sorry, no name comes to mind atm to back this up) Why notably these days? Let’s just look how “truth” boils down to only two opposite stances in most politic “shows” these days.

The passage also touches at the notion of truth in language, expressed in words. That sort of “clipping” is the cause of many of our troubles and limitations (basically Gödel). And differs and complements expressions like walking style, which are in the end very rich in information…
