here's the simplest version

holders of the token can submit a brief essay to you proving their erudition

in return you grant an NFT

holding both gives access to the account

What if you asked someone to share one of their favorite passages and submit a picture of it? 

It's not foolproof

eventually the other holders vote etc etc

here's my version...

holders of the token can attend a book club. even if the attendee didn't read the book, by the time the meeting is over, they will know what the book is about. 

issue a proof of attendance nft

holding the nft gives access to cast

Could be time intensive and also need to validate that it wasn’t generated via an LLM

It’s a tough nut to crack

What would the requirement of tokens needed to participate be?
