What’s your favorite translation of the Tao te Ching?  

I’ve always been partial to the Jane English version, less sterile intellectual language and strong poetic vibes.

Hunger Mountain by him is one of my all-time favorites. Not a transaction, but he uses hiking around Vermont and some explanations of the history of some choice Chinese characters to share some deep mysteries.
