This is the secret of dreams--that we do not dream, but rather we are dreamt. We are the object of the dream, not its maker. The dream is dreamed to us. We are the objects. We simply find ourselves put into a situation.–CG Jung, 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯’𝘴 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘴

“We are like the spider. We weave our life & move along it. We are like the dreamer who dreams & then lives in the dream. https://twitter.com/DAVID_LYNCH/status/1196994977 This is from a Vedic (Hindu predecessor) text, Upanishads, which adds at the end, "This is true for the entire universe." https://www.reddit.com/r/twinpeaks/comments/12rts4y/who_is_the_dreamer/

"everyone is the dreamer and everyone is the dreamed" this idea keeps coming back to me the idea that half the planet prolly dreams the reality the other half experiences at every point in time

For me it is just mind. We are always becoming a new lens through which we filter the world we see. A deeply recursive process of the dreamed becoming embedded within the dreamer. What /mirror-loom is all about. Symbols and koans of this abound. We are the tree, the forest and the hearer.

I assume you are familiar with recursion. If you remember a dream (and probably even if you don't) the experience of it and your memory quite literally become a part of you. Just like riding a bicycle. You may not even remember the events that taught you how to read, but reading is a skill you have. Our experiences become who we are on many different levels. A billboard looks different in a foreign language as an easy example. But these things are true for literally all experiences you have. They become you.

i always said i wasn't a person i was a process..i was sure about it. now i think i know more about the process.. a recursive loop of experience folding in on itself.
