When you try to package deeply personal philosophies and authentic experiences you have lived, or desire to live into neat LinkedIn bullet points and/or values -- something, i don't know what it is, something - gets lost. It's like trying to explain why a joke is funny, it's not funny anymore

i.e. being "formidable" isn't something you can reduce to a handbook or mission statement. It comes from: - What you do - What you say when no one is around - What you read - What you eat in the morning or don't It comes from -- who you are

Mad Men did such a brilliant job of showing how advertising can turn such deeply felt human connection into marketing slop. Good slop, but still slop. With an ending of pure brilliance.

in the end, authentic feelings are near impossible to communicate well, there is only lived experience.

perhaps this is the faustian bargain embedded in trying to model the world in which @faust is engaged? essentially Don Draper sold his soul of deep lived experience and turned it into marketing riches.
