here is why some people (like me) never get infected by COVID-19 even when heavily exposed (wife + one son positive in the same house for a week).
it's all about a gene called HLA-DQA2. probably me and my other son are able to start an innate immune reaction that kills the virus in the nasal mucosa before it is able to reproduce and infect the body.
