This is very close to Rupert Spira and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rupert_Spira Daoist Zuowang "Sitting and Forgetting" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zuowang Essentially the idea is to exist, observing consciousness yet without getting sucked into it, as in rumination. From this place of awareness without consciousness, there is peace and happiness.
