it feels like social media platforms (like political parties) have been populated mostly based on what type of trauma everyone has rather than anything positive—like people are just going where they’ll be the least triggered because they all mostly avoid talking about the same things

not sure about here. to me farcaster feels way more positive and constructive than anywhere else online

Social media is not therapy, no reason to get sucked into someone else’s maladaptive issues.

it’s not, though some people certainly choose venting and working their stuff out online over therapy for various reasons 😅
