One hill I will die on: bi-weekly should only ever mean twice a week. Semi-weekly (or fortnightly) is for once every two weeks. I will mute everyone who disagrees and pretend they never existed

What does next Monday mean to you?

Ah yes, that's one that always confuses me. For me, "next Monday" is simply whichever Monday comes next, whether it's as soon as tomorrow (assuming today is Sunday) or as far as a week from now (assuming today is Monday). But, I understand that for some people it means "Monday a week from now", so that in my first example of today being Sunday, it would not be tomorrow but the following Monday. So, I take "next" literally whereas some people think of an implied reference to "next [week's] Monday". If I have to say it, I say "this coming Monday" instead. If somebody else says "next Monday", I always ask for clarification. How do you use it yourself?
