Hey Figma Stars, a reminder for color conversions: Don't use plugins or online tools to convert across color spaces! - You'll get the most accurate conversions if you do them directly in an Illustrator doc set to CMYK color mode. - Enter either your RGB or Hexcode values into the Color menu. RGB tends to yield slightly more accurate values. - Pantone is still unmatched for most color recreation in print. Since Adobe no longer partners with Pantone you'll need to import Color Books from older versions of the software to use them. Pantone Connect also costs $15 to do online color matching, but ALWAYS double check in Illustrator. - Calibrate your monitor to display color more accurately in CMYK! Don't depend on an RGB display setting to proof print.

How do you calibrate your monitor? I feel like I’ve tried in past and totally failed.

The quick and dirty method is to set your display to the sRGB color profile. This comes factory installed on Macs. For anything more robust (and accurate), you'll need a calibration device & software. XRite's tools were what I was trained on in school: https://www.xrite.com/categories/calibration-profiling Spyder is a great alternative that clips onto your monitor: https://www.datacolor.com/spyder/
