It’s defecating whether the offending child is wearing a swim diaper or not. The water will touch it no matter what. It might not be a child either. I used to lifeguard in college and for a few months we were plagued by the “phantom pooper.” The catch was it only happened at the 5-8am shift when the only swimmers were retirees and the swim team.
