My hangup is that clicking on someone’s profile already shows their casts which build their brand. Plus, it’s easy to follow, get alerts, and already existed as a social primitive…

I’m sending that what it’s missing is the network effect of other people adding to the brand by casting directly into it.

no channel is like no-mans land. you accrue your own brand value by casting into your channel, and others can cast into it, too
