Merkle's priorities right now Team is 14 people roughly split into 3 groups Protocol — build and migrate to Snapchain to make sure the network can continue to scale; we also have a new FIP for SIWF Crypto — Frames v2 (FIP shipped last night); as part of Frames v2 we're working on making transactions buttery smooth Social — protocol and crypto don't matter if people aren't using Farcaster every day. Making progress on app performance, removing jank, iteration on channels (onboarding!), feed tweaks and DCs.

alright, you can even brush up on American history on Farcaster 😂 FYI, Dan shared The Federalist Papers, essays by Hamilton, Jay, and Madison under the pseudonym "Publius" to promote the Constitution. so think of "Publius" as the Federalists' anoncast account, that's why the ticker is $PUBLIUS, and the logo features Hamilton.

different fee models, different token deployment mechanisms but useful to remember that pumpfun is earning $1.2m+ in daily revenue excluding the tokens all together (majority of USD value in unclaimed fees is from tokens) and only counting weth after creator cut, we're at around 13.33 ETH / day right now orders of magnitude smaller, we are early launching a new feature today and integrating with a @farcaster favorite. different fee model for those, and users can choose which they prefer soon

Major QoL improvement for folks using farcaster login or linking. The feature defers trust over user account access to the @farcaster identity system (in auto-linking the wallets it associates to a user) so it isn’t enabled by default but it should make your life a lot easier if you’re building on FC 👐✨
