some thoughts and questions given recent news re: "interesting content," changes to how channels work

to me, social platforms are marketplaces with "buyers" and "sellers" (in this case, of content)
- creators are "sellers" of their content goods
- enjoyoors / vibing / curators are "buyers"

as a content creator type on fc, i have expressed my concerns that the current fc algorithms punish new users too hard, which reduces possible audience sizes and makes the place not attractive to content creator types (and not fun for content consumers either!)

(i also want to emphasize that i myself am a "buyer" on other platforms like instagram, youtube, etc.! there is no value judgement to be either and we often play both roles.)

so what if instead, *user intent* is composable?
similar to how in role-playing games, you can play as characters with diff types of specialization

and it's set "per session," since sometimes I want to broadcast and share my content, and other times, support my friends with theirs

I think I may livestream during the show — simultaneously painting on the “garage sale painting” I found!

I would be very happy if Warpcast did a serious review of why so many great authors are leaving the app. In the last few months, great artists, curators, research platforms, galleries have stopped using the app and publishing interesting content here. Why did these people leave? And what could Warpcast do to get them to come back and stay?

I think it's a mix of both. Creators need to innovate and engage more, but the platform also has to provide better tools and features. Channels could help, but what about introducing interactive elements like polls or live Q&A?

If platform isn’t accessible, how can you find interesting content here? 

- accessibility- I did Digital accessibility audit and it is not accessible for visual challenging users. Far house isn’t accessible for deaf users . That’s why I’m not inviting more deaf artists to sign up!
