this will be my first time attending ethcc. wondering if its worth getting the full ethcc pass or if side events are where it's at (like usual).

My experience… 

The side events are better and there’s usually last minute tickets magically appearing

I wanted to volunteer to get a pass but spots were taken so I’m just gonna do side events! I find that’s where I hang most conferences haha

IMO there’re so many great side events that the pass is not mandatory. But it’s by far the best ETH conference I’ve been to.

I figured. It’s usually the case these days. And thanks for sharing your experience.

Last EthCC I met with teams outside the conference (even though I had a ticket), but spent most of my time at side events. 

IMO you won’t miss much without a pass.
