Lots of folks predict the end of SaaS because AI makes it easy to quickly vibe-code disposable todo lists or diet trackers. But how much throwaway software do you really want if you value your time? In an era flooded with AI-generated mediocrity, there’s huge value in software where details, edge cases, and security are thoughtfully handled—saving you time, money, and frustration.

I say this as someone who vibe-codes all sorts of scripts to help me debug customer issues or analyze data. The ability to do this 10x faster than before is amazing but it’s different from saying that software engineering as a profession is dead or SaaS is going away.
