One advantage of SIWF over SIWE is that you don’t need to have 3+ different buttons / flows corresponding to different wallet providers

I hope that as SIWF extends to other clients, the simplicity of having a single interface is maintained

this is one reason we updated to short channel codes. if web clients want to log in users, users can enter the 8 character code, like a magic link login. 

the best UX is for every app to build in a QR scanner (even Warpcast is not here yet). next best is to use a magic link style modal for web logins.

it's mostly because React Native camera libraries are pretty gnarly. we'll get to it at some point.

- mvp ships faster without it
- kill two birds with one stone with the perms list (though this could be a one time display)
