Hi everyone! Thanks to @yb for organizing and @ommalik for suggesting these. For those who don’t know me, I lead the /evm channel here and work on Warpcast and Farcaster.

👋🏽 Can you tell us how you got here and what got you interested in the idea of smart contract security? It is a pretty arcane area to focus on.

I shared a bit about how I got here in the cast/thread below. 

In terms of security, fear and pride, I guess! I've never written space grade code, but smart contracts are the most adversarial, challenging paradigm I've ever worked in.

I also had an interest and background in software testing prior to working on smart contracts and found a niche where 1) quality tends to be bimodal: code is either yeeted onchain or developed with extreme caution, and 2) people are interested not just in testing but techniques like fuzzing and formal verification.
