Dude, I just read this and I'm shocked myself. I'm often told that I'm a closed-minded and self-centered person, even though I'm just constantly thinking and imagining cool stuff. Turns out the reason is that some people don't have anything going on inside. WHAT?

people with aphantasia don't have "nothing going on inside" lmao they just don't visualize thoughts - they pull from semantic and episodic memory instead and other sensory modalities we can have just as lively and vivid as an internal monologue as anyone else, it has nothing to do with being closed minded or self centered
