That’s a crazy story. 

Apple also scans your eyeballs but people trust Apple to do it. They’ve spent years earning that trust. In addition to that they’ll have to demonstrate that they’re not building a supranational biometric surveillance layer whether by accident or design.

i dont 'trust' that apple isn't working w/ the usg. i just personally don't feel at risk rn if they are.

Oh Apple clearly was working w the gov as Snowden revealed. But they realized they could use privacy as a selling point.
