any recs for running shoes? ive liked the saucony kinvaras and nike pegasus but wanna try something different

Fleet feet store nearby? It’s worth getting your foot scanned and letting their experts assist in choosing your shoes. Hokas, OC’s, Nikes, etc…

Thirded to get your feet scanned at a local running store and gait analysis, I usually buy something cheaper at the store so I don’t completely waste their time and then buy a cheaper few-years old version of the same recommended shoe on eBay. 

Would also recommend custom insoles, worth the ~$100 investment imo

For training. Nike Vaporfly all the way.  Expensive but huge toebox and you can get back to hard training the next day.
