im working on an ANON farcaster client where you login via email and spent long time figuring out how to use your privy embedded wallet to create a brand new FID (sponsoring the fees on my backend) finally i just made it work and i feel happy lmao

i thought about this so long but eventually i explained @henri what the app is about and he didn't even hesitate answering that it was the best choice, at least with the tech (and ux) that we have at our disposal today (you can always create a random email and use it to log in. the session on the app lasts for 400 days)

Yeah. Basically socials are out and sms is harder/unreliable for generating throwaway numbers, email is straightforward. Could also do passkey sign up (we have passkey log in today but can open that up). It’s just not common today but could be cool

i mean if you want a beta tester consumer app for the passkeys login I would implement it in the next hour (and ship it to TestFlight tomorrow 👀) but if not i will wait for the next cycle of /anky (and next version of the app) that starts on February. that’s my preferred option tbh. no keyboard
