michelangelo (encapsuled)
@michelangelo
I'll bring out the big boys Spinoza, Ethics - self as part of nature identified by all other selves (not easy too read) Hume, Treatise on human nature - self is nothing more than this bundle of perceptions connected by an association of ideas Rorty, Objectivity, Relativism, and Truth - self as fragmentation

this intrigued me as to why a scottish philosopher would have a lake and not a loch. So i went off to learn & if there is any tiny shred of connection between the great david hume and the hume-bennett lumber company with their "lake" which is really a reservoir log dump - well i couldn't find it
